# Supported chains and pathways

Where Canary verification operates, and how new chains are added.

Canary DVN verification operates across 140+ chains, including EVM networks and non-EVM chains such as Solana, Tron and Stellar. A pathway is covered when Canary is live on both its source chain and its destination chain. Per-chain addresses are listed on [DVN addresses](/canary/reference/dvn-addresses.md).

## The same standard from day one

New chains are supported under the same standard from their first day. A chain does not earn a lighter version of Canary over time, and the standard is the same on day one as on day five hundred. Faster-finality chains shorten the wait to reach Canary's floor, and they do not change the standard.

Recent additions include:

* **Arc**, Circle's Layer 1 for stablecoin settlement, supported from its public mainnet launch on 16 September 2026.
* **Stellar**, where Canary is live and is extending verification across Stellar pathways with support from Stellar Community Fund round 45.

## Where the volume is

Canary-secured traffic is spread across the networks where stablecoins and tokenised assets actually move. The chart below shows the ten chains with the most cumulative volume secured by Canary, as grouped in the chain adoption view of the public Dune dashboard.

On the public Dune dashboard, 117 chains show Canary-secured traffic as of 7 October 2026, not counting the Sepolia testnet. Dune indexes a subset of the chains Canary supports, so coverage across all supported chains is higher. Live figures are on [Dashboards and live data](/canary/trust-and-transparency/dashboards-and-live-data.md).
